Hussein Tabaja, 74, and Daad Tabaja, 69, were killed after fleeing southern Lebanon amid Israel’s airstrikes, said their son, Kamal Tabaja. He said his parents immigrated to Canada in 1996 to escape the Lebanese Civil War and became Canadian citizens three years later.
